Firefox 1.1 Delayed
The next release of the Firefox open source browser is now scheduled for June rather than March, but lead developer Ben Goodger denies that his move to Google is related to the delay.

Second Firefox Coder Joins Google
Google—shortly after announcing the hiring of lead Firefox engineer Ben Goodger—has picked up a second Mozilla developer, fueling rumors that the search company is working on a branded web browser. Both programmers say they will continue to be active contributers to the Mozilla and Firefox projects.
