Good OS Presents "Cloud"Browser-based operating system demonstrated at CES
Good OS has unveiled Cloud, a new operating system with only a browser that can be made compatible with any PC.
Cloud integrates the web browser and operating system so that a browser actually becomes the interface for the operating system. Even activities such as connecting to Wi-fi or powering off your computer start happening on web pages empowered by the little operating system behind the browser.
Good OS is an operating system software company based in the Silicon Valley and Taipei focusing on cloud computing operating systems and interfaces for consumers. gOS, the company's Linux distribution, debuted on computers at Wal-Mart stores last year, and have since shipped with PC OEMs on NetBooks, NetTops, and consumer PCs.
