Voyager Edge 6.1 Bridges .NET and Java on Mobile Apps

Recursion Software's Voyager Edge 6.1 Brings .NET Services to the JBoss Platform for Distributed and Mobile Apps

Recursion Software announced that its Voyager Edge 6.1 intelligent agent framework now provides .NET interoperability for the Red Hat's JBoss Enterprise Application Platform. Voyager Edge 6.1 bridges JBoss Messaging to and from any Java Message Service-compliant service and Microsoft Message Queuing, providing access to the complete .NET architecture to applications developed with JBoss middleware.

Recursion Software CTO Bob Deanna stated that "We see a world of dynamic, ad-hoc device communities that are completely platform-agnostic and share intelligence on a wide range of wired and wireless networks. Partnering with an industry leader like Red Hat and integrating with their JBoss Enterprise Application Platform is a critical step in making this possible." Dr. Dobb's recently spoke to Bob Deanna about "Mobile 2.0" apps that could potentially run on groups of wireless "edge" devices communicating with one another directly, as well as working in a more typical client/server network.

A free community edition of Voyager Edge 6.1 is now available for download. The CE version license runs for a one full year, and does not include software support. To learn more about Voyager Edge, visit www.recursionsw.com.
