Obfuscating for Prevention and Detection

Sebastian Holst, of PreEmptive Solutions, explains tamper detection and some other new features in Dotfuscator 4.1, an obfuscation tool for .NET.
Sebastian also describes a security utility called a "Virtual Source Code Repository Builder." This is not a standalone product but a script developed by PreEmptive Solutions for use by its clients. The script employs multiple open-source tools to create a directory crawler that will help reveal security vulnerabilities you may not realize you have in your binaries.
