About SHARE
The sign at SHARE 94 (no, not 1994; rather, the 94th meeting) said, "SHARE isn't an acronym; it's what we do!" SHARE was founded in 1955 by customers of IBM to enhance the members' education and interpersonal communication regarding information technology. The first meeting was largely composed of users of the IBM 704. Today, the organization boasts many thousands of members and a peer network of over 2,000 member companies who represent Fortune 100 companies and educational institutions. SHARE 95 will take place at Boston's Hynes Convention Center on July 23-28, 2000. Return to Linux on the IBM S/390
