ZHMICRO Releases C++ IDE

For use with the Z47 Virtual Processor

ZHMICRO has announced availability of Visual '09 Linux, a C++ IDE that provides a built-in editor, debugger, compiler, and memory-leak detection, among other features. When used with the the Z47 Virtual Processor, applications written with Visual '09 can run on multiple desktop and enterprise operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows, LINUX, and UNIX, as well as mobile operating systems such as Palm, Windows Mobile, and Pocket PC. This combination of applications written with Visual '09, and the use of the Z47 Virtual Processor enables rapid development and the integration of these applications within a wide range of frameworks.

The Z47 Virtual Processor is a self-contained distributed operating system of about 500K for all platforms. Z++ applications become processes of the Z47 Virtual Processor, which manages its own threads, processes, local and remote inter-process communications signals, and exceptions without making system calls to the underlying operating system.

"This release of the Linux Visual '09 continues ZHMICRO's commitment to provide developers with a truly 'complete' Linux IDE that is feature rich, easy to use, and gives software development organizations a one-stop solution that allows them to greatly reduce their development costs and make the most efficient use of their development resources," says ZHMICRO's Daniel Hatton.
