The OpenSAF Foundation, an association of communications and computing companies, announced it will sponsor Developer Days 2009 for the OpenSAF community this summer.

The OpenSAF Project is holding Developer Days 2009 on June 3rd and 4th in Shenzhen, China, hosted by Huawei Technologies. Developer Days is a gathering of developer and technology leaders who are interested in learning more about this project. The focus of this two day event is to exchange ideas and share knowledge about high availability middleware. Topics will include the OpenSAF software and architecture, planning for upcoming releases, how to contribute to the project, and application design experiences.

All interested parties are encouraged to mark their calendar and register on line at the OpenSAF website.

The OpenSAF Project is an open-source project established to develop a base platform high-availability middleware consistent with Service Availability Forum/SA Forum specifications. OpenSAF code is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License, version 2.1 (LGPL v2.1). Anyone can participate in the OpenSAF Project by downloading the code, and contributing to the development project.
