General Info | Previous Winners Jolt Awards - 1999 WinnersIn each of the six categories, we present one Jolt Award and three Productivity Awards. The categories are Books and Computer-Based Training, Design and Management Tools, Libraries, Frameworks and Components, Languages and Development Environments, Utilities and Deployment Tools, and Special. The Jolt winner was selected as the product that most jolted the industry during the 1999 calendar year. The Productivity Award winners also deserve recognition for having a significant impact in software development. Also presented was the Software Development Hall of Fame Award, a crystal ice bucket filled with Jolt Cola.
