OpenFaces JSF Library Updated

Software update released under dual open source (LGPL) and commercial license

TeamDev has announced an update to OpenFaces, JSF components library formerly known as QuipuKit. With the release of this update, the software will be released under dual-license model: open source (LGPL) and commercial.

OpenFaces 2.0 contains fully revised codebase of QuipuKit 1.6, and includes all the components previously available. In addition, it introduces an Ajax framework and a set of new components such as DayTable, PopupMenu, Window, and Spinner, as well as other new components and features. You can these components and features in this demo.

Currently OpenFaces 2.0 is in pre-release stage. The purpose of this Early Access Program (EAP) release is to and gather feedback before we freeze the public API of version 2.0. The production 2.0 release is planned for June 2009. We welcome everyone to contribute and participate in OpenFaces development. Please don't hesitate to post feedback at the product forum or via email.
