Qt Updates Java BindingsPerformance improvements and an upgrade for Qt WebKit integration
Qt Software has released Qt Jambi 4.5.0_01, the most recent version of bindings the Qt application and UI framework for Java. Following a maintenance period of one year, Qt Jambi will be discontinued to focus resources on the Qt cross-platform application and UI framework. To ensure continuity of the Qt Jambi implementation, it will be hosted on the qt.gitorious.org site where the community can continue its development.
Qt Jambi 4.5.0_01 provides bindings of Qt 4.5.0 to Java, and includes all the new features released with Qt 4.5, including performance improvements and an upgrade of the Qt WebKit Integration. The newly added Qt 4.5 support for 64-bit Qt-based Mac applications on top of Apple's Cocoa framework will not be provided in Qt Jambi.
Qt Jambi 4.5.0_01 binary packages are available for download here. Source code is available from the here, both under the LGPL v2.1 license. Existing Qt Jambi customers will receive commercial versions in their download areas. It is no longer possible to purchase new Qt Jambi licenses.
