Firms Team To Support RF App Development

Automatic test equipment vendor Credence Systems has partnered with Integra Technologies to offer mixed-signal and RF application development support for design houses located in North America.
SAN FRANCISCO — Automatic test equipment (ATE) vendor Credence Systems Corp. said Wednesday it has partnered with Integra Technologies to offer mixed-signal and RF application development support for design houses located in North America.

According to Joe Holt, Integra's president of business development, proliferation of wireless and RF capabilities in computing and consumer electronics has created opportunities for design houses with the right expertise, but that many of these companies lack the needed test resources.

"The goal of this partnership is to provide such customers with a turnkey test solution that meets their needs from design to low-volume production," Holt said. "Once a customer transitions to high-volume production, we will help facilitate the transfer of product testing to a test house where they can still leverage the performance and cost advantages of Credence's systems."

Earlier this week, Credence (Milpitas, Calif.) reported its final results for the third quarter, including the disclosure of a $461.4 million loss.
