The integration extends AmberPoint management capabilities to message traffic that flows through Reactivity hardware. A service oriented architecture, or SOA, is a method of distributed computing that uses extensible markup language, or XML, technology for moving data between applications.
New capabilities as a result of the combined products include integrated wire-speed and endpoint policy enforcement across heterogeneous platforms and infrastructures; and integrated service auto-discovery, service-level management, exception management and security and routing capabilities to govern service networks at runtime. In addition, management and security capabilities can be extended to the network and service endpoints.
