Test Smarter, Not Harder

Today's link comes from Developer.*, where Scott Sehlhorst suggests we Test Smarter, Not Harder. Scott covers random sampling, pairwise and n-wise testing, and the (sometimes un)importance of operation order. Scott does an excellent job of explaining these testing techniques in terms that even your manager can understand! Along the way he talks about the difference between your confidence in an application and your app's quality, and also equivalence classes. And then he sums it all up in a few bullet points ripe for rapid review. Give it a read today!
