Architecture & Design World 2007

It is a little far into the future (July 24-27, 2007), but it seems Architecture & Design world is going to be a very interesting conference.

Here are few of the presentations I want to attend:

• Dan Pritchett on eBay’s architecture (check out his his "How eBay Scales" slides).
• Robert C. Martin (a.k.a. Uncle Bob) on Agile and OO Design Principles and another on Design Patterns.
• Larry Constantine on UI Architectures.
• Scott Ambler on coping with the "uncomfortable issues" in Agile development.
• Rob Daigneau on people-related anti-patterns.
• Juha-Pekka Tolvanen on building Domain-Specific Languages.

And many many others.

P.S.: It seems there was a problem with the comments system (thanks Sandy for pointing that out), so I'll wait a few more days before commenting on the Architect vs. Project Manager dilemma.
