Conclusion
Tomorrow's computing workloads will require exponential increases in computing power, and multi-core platforms and multithreading are paving the way to meeting these performance needs. To do it though, they need a companion effort in accelerating the development of the thread-level parallelism in software to reach their full performance potential.
